organisation.
(15 marks)

The strategies to successfully implement change are:
Openness
Consultation between management and staff is essential through all stages of
the process. A meeting could be held outlining the details in an open and honest
fashion.
Decision-Making
Staff should be included in the decision-making process and workers’ opinions
are essential to future progress. Staff inclusion helps to implement the proposed
changes. The economic benefits of change should be explained clearly to all
employees of the firm.
Training
Staff should be prepared properly by the firm for the challenges, which lie ahead.
Staff will fear change until they understand the new systems and work practices.

Patience and commitment
• It is important that management give the project their full commitment. Patience
is imperative for all parties as all new projects have teething problems. All
changes should be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.
